Alumni Network
Recruitment & Job Opportunities
The
ASPR is not a recruiting organization. However, during the IPT Specialization
Course, we offer participants the opportunity to have an interview with a
recruiting expert from the Special Operations Department of United Nations
Volunteers (UNV). Depending on the participant’s qualifications and UNV’s
needs, the prospective UN employee
will be contacted (sometimes within one week’s notice) and may be sent to any
UN mission in the world. During the last years, many of our participants from a
variety of countries have found their entry into the UN system through our
courses. They now work with UN Missions in Kosovo, Haiti, Nepal, etc.
For
further information on UN Volunteers please visit www.unvolunteers.org
We are committed to keeping former participants in touch with each other and to establishing links between them. Our aim is to weave a global network of support and we ask you to help make it grow and keep it alive.
Upon registering, you can indicate if you want to be included in the Alumni Directory (which is published on the web-site and accessible to the public), if you are interested in serving as an IPT Focal Point in your country/region, or if you would like to serve as a career contact for current IPT participants and fellow Alumni. Please indicate also if you would like to assist planning IPT participants‘ reunions, or if you would like to interview prospective participants on their suitability for attending
IPT.
